[What the role is] Working in the Finance Department, you will be responsible for the following: [What you will be working on]
• Perform finance and accounting functions, including but not restricted to accounting for daily revenue collection, accounts payable, month-end closing, fixed assets, fees and charges costing, bank reconciliations and preparation of management reports • Functional lead for Fixed Assets related matters • Responsible for preparing the asset listings and coordinating asset sighting exercises • Liaise with departments and agencies on returns and submissions • Prepare audit schedules for statutory and other audits • Provide advice and support on financial matters • Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers • Manage and review user access, roles, and permission within finance systems to ensure proper access controls are maintained • Plays an active role in the implementation and upgrading of fixed asset management systems and related system projects
[What we are looking for] This role might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
• A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience • Positive and highly motivated, flexible, and resourceful • Meticulous and able to exercise sound judgement • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • A good team player and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Able to leverage technology and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
