Job Description:
• To receive any working instruction or any production scheduling of running products from Manager • To ensure the plants throughput per day meet the budgeted cost. • To ensure the plants are optimally utilized at high efficiency. • To ensure the quality of the products produced comply with the specification given. • To ensure the plants are running smoothly by proactively arranging corrective and preventive maintenance. • To implement safety measures in all aspects of engineering at production related work areas. • To ensure the cleanliness of all plants complies with the hygienic standard. • To arrange sufficient manpower supply to operate the plants. • To continuously coach and develop the subordinates. • To ensure the implementation of the HACCP, ISO, OHSAS programs are being carried out accordingly and effectively. • To prepare the conventional and SAP reports on daily production quantity of Hydrogenation and IE plants. • To meet the targeted dateline for accomplishing material balancing in SAP system on monthly basis. • To act as liaison to Finance Department regarding production issues that have effect on accounting process. • To facilitate Logistics Department in SAP related issues. • Lead Continuous improvement to improve productivity and reduce operating cost. • Identify bottlenecks and implement debottlenecking projects • Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). • Monitor reactor, heat exchanger, vacuum system, filters, pumps, and agitator performance. • Participate in shutdown planning and commissioning activities. • Develop dashboards for monthly report. • Monitor and optimize hydrogenation and interesterification (IE) processes to achieve production targets. • Monitor critical operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, vacuum, agitation, reaction time, and catalyst dosage.
Job Requirement
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 3 to 8 years of experience in Hydrogenation plants, Edible oil processing or Oleochemical manufacturing
• Leadership and teamwork abilities and Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good understanding of quality, environmental, and statutory compliance requirements.
