Overview The College Admissions Counselor acts as a primary representative of the institution, managing a specific program to identify, attract, and enroll a high-quality and diverse student body. This role involves extensive outreach, evaluating complex application credentials, and providing high-level guidance to prospective students and their families throughout the enrollment lifecycle. Demonstrates Compliance & Integrity by adhering strictly to all institutional policies, ABHES accreditation standards, and state/federal regulations, ensuring the highest level of integrity in every student interaction.

What you will do

• Drive Enrollment Success: Achieve individual and college-wide enrollment objectives by engaging with prospective healthcare students and guiding them through the specialized admissions process for nursing and allied health programs.

• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain meaningful connections with applicants, providing the high-touch communication and support necessary to navigate the enrollment process specific to RCHS.

• Data Management: Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure accurate and timely input throughout the enrollment cycle, specifically tracking prospective student communications, academic needs (such as ATI-TEAS scores and prerequisite completion), and critical onboarding tasks.

• SIS Proficiency: Utilize the college's Student Information System (SIS) to manage admissions activities, maintain data accuracy, and streamline the transition from prospective students to enrolled health sciences candidates.

• Professional Development: Participate actively in training initiatives to stay current on 2026 healthcare education trends and Riverside Health system updates, enhancing your skills to better serve our future providers.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED, (Required)

• Associates Degree, Business, Healthcare Administration, Higher Education, or related field (Required)

• Bachelors Degree, Business, Healthcare Administration, Higher Education, or related field (Preferred)

Experience

• 1 year Higher Education, Admissions; Administrative/Office Assistant, Sales experience (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

• Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (VACRAO or AACRAO) (Preferred)
