Credence is seeking a System Engineer to support DLA’s PIEE Program Management Office and ensure that IT operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis
Responsibilities:
Lead evaluation and assessment of emerging AI/ML technologies and cloud-based platforms (AWS)Develop technology strategy and roadmaps for AI/ML tool integration and deploymentCoordinate with cross-functional teams (Cyber, Operations, Development) on technology requirements and implementationsManage security, compliance, and authorization (Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include Authority to Operate (ATO)) processes for new technology deploymentsConduct research and proof-of-concept (PoC) testing for emerging technologies and platformsPrepare technical documentation, whitepapers, and briefings for executive leadershipCollaborate on cloud infrastructure planning and optimization (AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch, Postgres, etc.)Support program-level planning and strategic alignment with stakeholder objectivesEvaluate vendor solutions and third-party tools for integration with government systemsMaintain technical documentation and configuration standards for approved technologiesSupport Agile teams in adoption of new tools and technologiesBrief leadership on technology initiatives, roadmaps, and strategic recommendationsRequirements
Must posses a NACLC level clearance at a minimumBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field3+ years of hands-on systems engineering experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Demonstrated experience evaluating and implementing AI/ML technologies and toolsWorking knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and DevSecOps practiceExperience with government security, compliance, and ATO processes (IT-II, Secret clearance environments)Strong technical writing and ability to prepare documentation, whitepapers, and executive briefingsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audienceAbility to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersCloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred; security or AI/ML certifications a plus
