About this role
Nanyang Technological University, School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology is looking for a part-time lecturer carry out teaching and assessment of a postgraduate level course in Renewable Energy and Fuels as part of the MSc in Chemical Engineering Programme.
Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Development, coordination and preparation of course outline, learning plan and all matters pertaining to assessments. • Coordination of the preparation of course notes and instructional materials. These have to be submitted to the CCEB MSc team by the deadlines given. • Conducting classes according to the course syllabus and learning plan. • Providing students formative and timely feedback; keeping track of student learning throughout the course. • Setting, marking and submission of the results of any assessment as part of the teaching requirement. • Coordination with the CCEB MSc team on all matters related to the successful delivery of the programme. • Ensuring that NTU’s rules, practices and codes of conducts on intellectual property rights and academic integrity are strictly adhered to. • Any other task that may be necessary for the successful delivery of the course.
You must be an expert in Advanced Reaction Engineering. You must have a Ph.D in Chemical engineering, Advanced Reaction Engineering, or in a closely related discipline. You must be a current practitioner of Advanced Reaction Engineering processes or research. You must be an excellent communicator in English, both verbally and written. You must be familiar with the operation of a research-intensive university in Singapore, such as Nanyang Technological University You must have outstanding team-working capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
