The Polysomnographic Technician assists in conducting sleep studies and related procedures under the supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or physician. This role focuses on patient preparation, equipment setup, and basic monitoring to ensure accurate data collection and patient safety. Position Details:
• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. • Preferred Education: Collegiate coursework in health sciences. • Licensure/Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire. • Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Following completion of PSG Technician training checklist requirements, the PSG Tech must possess sufficient demonstrable technical knowledge and acquired competencies to work with intermittent supervision. • Experience: • Preferred Experience:
