Qualified Teacher Status and successful experience in primary education.
A strong track record of improving early reading, literacy and language outcomes for children.
Significant experience of Read Write Inc. Phonics and supporting its implementation in schools.
Experience of coaching, mentoring and training teachers, teaching assistants and school leaders.
Secure knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics, reading development, vocabulary acquisition, language development, fluency and comprehension.
Experience of supporting literacy improvement across schools or leading whole-school literacy development.
An understanding of effective implementation and evidence-informed practice.
The ability to analyse performance information and identify priorities for improvement.
Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
The ability to work collaboratively with leaders and staff across multiple schools.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
A commitment to improving outcomes for disadvantaged pupils, pupils with SEND and those at risk of falling behind.

The ability to travel regularly between Trust schools.
