About this role
St Raphael the Archangel CMAT are looking to appoint Finance Assistant on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2027 to support the Central Finance Team. This part time role working 30 - 35 hours per week for 41 weeks per year, will be based at St Benedict’s Catholic High School, Alcester, but occasionally work may be required in other schools. Finance is a happy, supportive and loyal team and we look forward to welcoming a new team member.
The successful candidate will:
Load transactions onto accounting software for all 29 CMAT schoolsBe a point of contact for enquiries and queries by email and telephone internally and externallySupport with processing new supplier forms following set protocolsLook to add value for money for all schools ensuring cost savings across the CMATProcess income transactions and other nominal account journalsAny other duties including tasks to support audit and other compliance workWork with other team members to ensure tight deadlines are achievedBe supportive of our Catholic ethos of the schoolHave high expectations of all childrenHave energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitudeAs we strive to become an employer of choice, not only will you be joining a progressive multi-academy trust, you will also receive a competitive benefits package, which as well as salary includes:
