POTENTIAL POSITION:
• Instructional Coach ELA/Literacy HOURS PER DAY:
• 7 HOURS PER DAY (3 days per week) NUMBER OF DAYS:
• 120 days per year (3 days per week) QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Valid Ohio Teaching License required ELA licensure (grades K-12 or appropriate grade band) preferred. K-12 Reading Endorsement on Ohio teaching license preferred. Bachelor's degree in Education required; Master's degree in Education, Reading, or Literacy preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience, including ELA or literacy instruction. • Demonstrated knowledge of Ohio's Learning Standards for English Language Arts. • Experience implementing evidence-based literacy practices and structured literacy instruction. • Knowledge of and experience with MTSS/RtI frameworks and tiered instructional support. • Experience administering and interpreting literacy screeners and diagnostic assessments to identify students at risk. • Experience using student data to drive instructional decisions. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to work effectively with adult learners as a coach, mentor, and professional development facilitator. • Adhere to Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators. • Must have successful BCI & FBI background checks. • Must have successful drug test results. • Must be willing and able to carry out the duties of the job description. • Must perform any additional duties as assigned by building/district administration.
