• to communicate with students accurately and effectively in his/her teaching area and
• to demonstrate interest through careful preparation of appropriate materials and resources
• to maintain a professional rapport with students and other school personnel and fulfill his/her professional responsibilities of the School District's Educational Goals
• to listen and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel in a manner which enhances learning and understanding
• to encourage the development of student involvement responsibility, critical thinking, and independent study to create an atmosphere conducive to academic learning, communicate interest and self-discipline, and develop realistic and positive self-concepts
• to use a variety of instructional techniques, methods, and media related to the objectives
• to organize instruction to take into account individual, ethnic, and cultural differences
• to provide opportunities for successful learning for students with different capabilities
• to plan instruction to achieve selected objectives
• to perform other duties as assigned by the school administration
