JOB DESCRIPTION: To perform general maintenance work to include plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, HVAC, and other associated maintenance responsibilities. Complete maintenance projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Semi-skilled worker's abilities, including the ability to lift, bend, and work on ladders and in unusual positions necessary to perform general maintenance work. At least two years experience in general maintenance work. Valid Arizona driver's license. Certification in one or more skilled trade preferred, but not required. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with materials and equipment used in a variety of maintenance assignments.
• Assist in any and all phases of construction and remodeling as assigned.
• Drive/operate the equipment – tractor, dump truck, jackhammer, and related equipment.
• Use equipment related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other related areas of skilled maintenance.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Maintain records of daily assignment times, as directed, for job time accounting purposes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
SALARY: Twelve-month position, beginning salary Level 34, employee benefits in accordance with Board policies. EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
