Grade Level: Kindergarten Anticipated Start Date: 08/11/2026 Anticipated End Date: whenever the teacher of record returns. Eligibility for Florida certification is required. FL certification in Elementary Education (Grades K-6) or Prekindergarten/Primary Education (age 3 through grade 3): is a prerequisite for teaching in field. • Out-of-State Certification: If you hold an unexpired, out-of-state, professional educator certificate in this subject area, please apply for Florida reciprocity. • Elem Ed Major: Commonly accepted bachelor's (or higher degree) majors for a Florida temporary educator certificate include: Elementary Education 1-6, K-6, N/K-6, K-3, K-4, K-8, K-9, and Upper Elementary 4-6. • Other Majors: For other degree majors, passing the FTCE Subject Area Exam in Elementary Education K–6 is required.
