The Eastern Local Board of Education is seeking to employ a High School Intervention Specialist for a one-year position funded through state grant resources for the 2026-2027 school year. Workday: 7:50 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Rate of Pay: as per negotiated agreement Position Funding Notice: This position is funded through state-funded programming for the 2026-2027 school year and is guaranteed for one year only. Continuation of employment beyond the current contract year is contingent upon the availability of future funding and the continued need for the position. Should funding be renewed, the district may consider extending the position for subsequent school years. QUALIFICATIONS ● Candidate must hold appropriate valid Ohio teaching certificate/license ● Candidate must have knowledge of academic content standards ● Candidate must establish and maintain cooperative relationships with parents and colleagues ● Candidate must be an ongoing learner ● Candidate must be caring and have understanding of children in this age group ● Candidate must strive to help build positive self esteem in students ● Candidate must discipline children in a firm, fair, and respectful manner ● Candidate must have successful teaching experience or student teaching ● Candidate must display and maintain a high standard of teaching ability ● Candidate must be dedicated to the improvement of the Eastern Local School District and its students Interested applicants should send a letter of interest, resume, and references to: Robie Day Eastern Middle/High School 1170 Tile Mill Rd.
