District One Schools Employment Opportunity Lead Groundskeeper 2026 - 2027 Title: Lead Groundskeeper Job Skills Required:
• Technical degree in Horticulture or Landscape Management, preferred.
• Holds a valid SC Pesticide License.
• Experience operating and servicing equipment such as mowers, tractors, loaders, mini-excavators, etc.
• Experience in the application of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
• Experience as a team lead, preferred.
Job Skills Required:
• Experience in operating commercial-style lawn care equipment and machinery;
• Prior experience in horticulture or degree in turf management, horticulture preferred.
Qualifications: Technical degree in Horticulture or Landscape Management, preferred. Must be able to pass a background check.
