Position Overview The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in 8th grade Science, Biology, and ICP, creating a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn. Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with Indiana Academic Standards
• Utilize hands-on labs and real-world applications to deepen student understanding
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and instruction
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
Qualifications
• Valid Indiana teaching license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong content knowledge
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
