TITLE OF VACANCY: Supplemental Middle School Band Teachers (one year only) LOCATION: TBD NUMBER OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 11 teaching positions REPORTS TO: Amy Minch, Fine Arts Coordinator Assignments may include instructional support during the regular school day, after-school lessons, and other supplemental middle school band activities, as assigned by the Fine Arts Coordinator. REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator's License endorsed in Music
• Experience teaching instrumental music at the middle school level preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide individual, small-group, and classroom instrumental instruction to middle school band students during the school day and/or in after-school lesson programs, as assigned.
• Collaborate with middle school band directors and the Fine Arts Coordinator to support student growth and program goals.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain appropriate attendance and instructional records.
• Participate in required planning meetings, rehearsals, performances, and other assigned program activities.
• Perform other duties related to the middle school band program as assigned.
