• Deliver small-group and one-on-one math intervention.
• Diagnose learning gaps using assessments and student performance data.
• Develop individualized intervention plans.
• Monitor student growth and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Prepare students for the Algebra I STAAR End-of-Course assessment at the Mets level.
• Reinforce mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and confidence.
Student Success Coaching
• Build meaningful relationships with assigned students.
• Meet regularly with students to establish academic goals.
• Celebrate growth while maintaining high expectations.
• Encourage resilience, perseverance, and personal responsibility.
• Help students develop productive learning habits.
Collaboration
• Partner with classroom teachers to coordinate interventions.
• Collaborate with Special Education staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are implemented.
• Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), campus meetings, and professional development.
• Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress.
Progress Monitoring
• Administer diagnostic assessments.
• Monitor attendance, engagement, and academic performance.
• Maintain documentation of intervention plans and student growth.
• Recommend instructional adjustments based on student data.
Campus Support
• Assist with after-school and Saturday tutorials as needed.
• Support a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
• Perform additional duties that contribute to student success and campus goals.
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong mathematics content knowledge
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for working with students who need additional academic support
• Strong technology skills and comfort working across multiple learning platforms
Preferred
• Texas Math Certification
• Intervention or classroom teaching experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience working with at-risk or alternative education students
