Job Title: Compensation, Benefits and Leave Coordinator Reports To: Human Talent Manger Organization: Tejano Center Division: RYSS Texas Public Schools Location: District Office POSITION SUMMARY Coordinate and administer the district's employee leave, benefits, and assigned compensation programs in accordance with district policies and applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Serve as a resource to employees and supervisors by providing accurate and timely guidance regarding employee benefits, leave entitlements, absences, and related Human Resources processes. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, coordinate with internal departments and external benefit providers, and support Human Resources initiatives that promote efficient administration, regulatory compliance, and positive employee experience. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position may be considered. Experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in human resources, employee benefits, leave administration, insurance, compensation, or a closely related field. • Experience in a public school district, governmental agency, or similar organization preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of employee leave and benefits administration practices and applicable federal and state requirements. • Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ADA, workers' compensation, and wage and hour requirements. • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, regulations, and benefit plan documents and communicate requirements clearly to employees and supervisors. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, cases, and priorities simultaneously. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate employee records. • Effective written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills. • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion. • Proficiency with HR information systems and standard office technology. • Ability to develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, reports, correspondence, and other documentation. • Working knowledge of basic accounting and reconciliation principles. **PLEASE OPEN ATTACHMENT FOR COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION DUTIES** Work Calendar Status: 12 Months (238 Days) Salary: MIN: $60,000 annual MID: $65,000 annual MAX: $70,000 annual FLSA Status: Exempt Emp Employment Status: Full-Time
