About this role
The St. Clair Student Representative Council is seeking responsible, respected and friendly individuals to join our events team who would be responsible for working a variety of SRC events and rentals, occasional evenings and weekends to support security, and overall event support to bring these events to life, predominantly at South Campus in Windsor, occasionally at the Downtown campus.
Job Description
This job reports to the Event Coordinator and helps to oversee and ensure the success of all SRC planned and staged events. The successful candidates will support various events during school hours supporting students and helping with hosting, occasionally events events as door, stage and general staff with various tasks assigned. The candidates must have good organizational, communication skills and have strong problem-solving skills.
Duties
• Assist security with capacity counting
• Door/ticket support
• Set up/tear down/clean up
• Square Terminal usage
• Crowd control/overall event staff presence.
• Material handout and clean up
Qualities
• Full-Time St. Clair student – South or DT
• Smart Serve Certified (asset)
• Friendly, positive attitude, outgoing
• No experience required

• Commitment: 5-15 hours per week, dependent on event schedule/SLC bookings, bookings fluctuate based on peak times per semester
