About this role

Natural Habitat Adventures (Nat Hab), a nature-focused global adventure travel company based in Louisville, Colorado, is seeking an Adventure Gear Coordinator to provide administrative, customer service and operational support for our gear program. Working closely with the Director of Adventure Gear, this role helps manage Nat Hab's internal and external gear stores, supports product purchasing and development, assists guests and employees with gear-related needs, and keeps product information, orders and projects organized. This is a full-time, exempt position based in Louisville, Colorado. The role follows a hybrid work schedule and requires regular in-office attendance. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Adventure Gear

• Perform routine product, pricing, description, image and content updates within Nat Hab’s online gear stores

• Test store updates, identify errors and escalate technical issues as needed

• Respond to routine guest and employee questions related to products, sizing, orders, frequent traveler benefits, refunds, returns, exchanges, gift cards, etc.

• Assist with gear procurement for online stores, frequent traveler benefits, employee initiatives and other programs

• Partner with the Inventory Manager and Fulfillment Team to communicate stock needs and incoming orders

• Help organize, pack and ship packages to guests, staff and partners as needed

• Participate in cross-functional meetings and gear-related projects

• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, e-commerce, administration or operations is helpful but not required

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments

• Dependable, curious and willing to learn new skills and systems

• Comfortable working with technology; familiarity with e-commerce platforms

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for delivering a remarkable guest experience

• Collaborative and supportive, while capable of completing assigned work independently

• Committed to sustainability and interested in environmentally responsible products

• Experience with FileMaker helpful but not required

• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

COMPENSATION

Starting salary: $55,000-$60,000 plus an annual bonus. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. (Per Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, employers must include compensation ranges in job postings). This is a full-time, exempt position.

LOCATION & TRAVEL

This is a hybrid position based in our Louisville, Colorado office. Employees are expected to work on-site at least 50% of the workweek. In addition, all employees are required to attend one annual company-wide, in-person staff week, as well as one additional in-office week each year scheduled by their department.

This policy may be modified at the company's discretion based on business needs.

WORKING HOURS

Our standard company hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MT. On Saturdays, we operate from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with coverage provided by select members of our guest-facing teams. Additional hours may be required, as needed, to achieve your goals and support business needs.
