ROLE OVERVIEW
The Finance Associate will support day to day financial operations across the organization, with a primary focus on accounts payable and receivable in Europe. The role is responsible for general accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The Finance Associate also supports month end close activities, and assists with budgeting, auditing, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical detail oriented and able to collaborate effectively across teams to ensure efficient financial operations and reporting accuracy. This is a remote position based in Europe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support all financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general accounting, bookkeeping and cash flow management
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepayments as part of the monthly closing process
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances to support Treasury activities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and supporting documentation
• Support the annual budget process, audits, and tax compliance activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth accounting operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; NetSuite preferred
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and reconciliation processes
• Understanding of payroll basics and general accounting principles
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to travel nationally or internationally as needed
