ROLE OVERVIEW
The People & Culture Lead will support BioLabs’ people strategy through a combination of operational HR, talent acquisition, employee experience, and administrative support for the European sites. This role works closely with the Director of People & Culture to enhance and coordinate employee programs, processes, and engagement initiatives while ensuring employees have the support and tools to thrive throughout their BioLabs career. This is a remote position based in Europe supporting employees in Germany, France, and the UK.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
• Support full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition activities
• Partner with hiring managers on recruitment needs and interview coordination
• Manage candidate experience, ATS administration, offers, background checks, and onboarding documentation
• Support internship, co-op, and campus recruiting programs
Onboarding & Offboarding
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, documentation, and employee transitions
• Support payroll, benefits, and work authorization administration
Culture & Employee Experience
• Support employee engagement, culture, and people initiatives
• Promote BioLabs’ values, mission, and collaborative culture
• Assist with HR policy implementation and local compliance initiatives
HR Operations & Employee Support
• Support HR systems, reporting, surveys, and employee programs
• Provide employees with guidance and day-to-day HR support
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Operations, Customer service, or a related field
• High level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills paired with high level of customer service
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities and strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/recruiting systems
