Rentokil Initial is looking for a hands-on, self-motivated Hygiene Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be out in the field delivering hygiene and cleaning services, helping customers solve problems and keeping their sites running smoothly. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and great customer interactions.
This role is Monday to Friday, and covers areas within Hawke's Bay, as the service area includes Napier, Hastings, Waipawa and Waipukerau. We provide a work vehicle to support your daily travel.

Key responsibilities:
Load and unload the service vehicle effectively to complete daily assignmentsPerform cleaning services in washrooms and public toilets according to job specifications and client policiesProvide and maintain hygiene products, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, sanitisers, sanitary bins and air freshenersAddress hygiene risks and client concerns to enhance work environmentsComplete service reports to document services performedProvide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all timesStay aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards
A successful candidate will have:
Full-time, permanent work rights in NZFull, clean driver’s licence and a clean criminal recordStrong customer service and communication skillsPhysically fit with a strong focus on health and safetySelf-motivated with great time managementHigh attention to detail and pride in high standardsConfident using mobile apps and technologyFlexible to travel and stay away overnight if neededCleaning or hygiene experience is a bonus
