As one of the Model Bookers you will be at the forefront of the Model Team working closely with the Seniors, Team Leaders, Leads and Management at ASOS Studios. With an ASOS casting eye you’ll be constantly searching for the next generation of ASOS faces, reacting to new briefs and both building and nurturing agency relationships. You will work with the team to supply a continuous stream of exciting talent to be one step ahead of the competition and deliver the best e-commerce assets in the industry for our 20 something customer. The role requires an unflappable, driven and hardworking individual with a passion for the brand/ You have the ability to successfully be a part of and support a team with a creative, strategic and operational mindset. It is vital that you are passionate about models and fashion- you have an established knowledge of the industry and current social trends and how they relate to the ASOS customer.

What you'll be doing...

Working as a member of the Model Booking team you will be securing top talent worldwide, owning the coordination of international bookings and maximising our position with model agencies by maintaining our high ASOS standards and reputation.

Reporting directly into the Senior Model Booker, you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day running of the Model team at ASOS studiosWorking alongside other bookers to source options and bookings for all talent bookings required for ASOS in house shoots, approx 30 models per day (including but not limited to rec & unrec ecomm, marketing location shoots, internal testing, social bookings and other creative projects) problem solving when necessary to help all studios achieve shoot targetsOwning the weekly ASOS shoot schedule, using your creative problem solving skills to ensure that all model options have been maximised across the 100+ shootsTaking ownership of models you have booked, working alongside the studio team to maximize each models potential and ensure consistency overtimeBeing confident in dealing with any model issues professionally and in line with ASOS behaviours policyIn depth understanding of the model team budget and rate structure facilitating negotiation skills with agencies so ASOS receive the best rates on modelsStrong awareness of model sales analysis, making use of this information to make informed casting decisionsDeveloping a creative ability to understand ASOS’s model families and their aesthetic for guys and girls. Using this to recognise appropriate model suggestions and ensuring all imagery used both internally and externally is in line with this expected standard.Contributing to the evolving ASOS talent brief keeping up to date with the diverse ASOS customer and ensuring they always feel represented across all category pagesMaintaining strong agency relationships so we are securing talent as “ASOS models”, ensuring they are readily available to us across multiple platforms at the best ratesNurturing existing relationships with international model agencies as well as establishing new ones when required, ensuring our first class reputation is maintained and that all suppliers operate in-line with our standardsWorking with the Seniors and Lead to support the training and development of new full-timersDeveloping your leadership style and communication alongside your Seniors, in line with ASOS Behaviours policyHaving a strong understanding of the department strategy, working closely with your Seniors, Leads and Management team help successfully deliver our goals. Build strong, professional and collaborative relationships with the wider studio teamDemonstrating excellent brand awareness by identifying areas for review, researching ideas and assessing competition when required to ensure we are market leadersEncouraging the team to be authentic, brave and creative and to follow all company and departmental strategies, leading by exampleDelivering projects to support the department strategy and any other adhoc tasks defined by the Model Team Lead and ManagerContributing to weekly team meetings with your industry knowledge and opinions and occasionally contributing to departmental meetingsBe recognised as an aspirational figure within your team and the wider department Qualifications
