About this role
We are looking for motivated interns to support on our Lead Logistics Customer Experience & Ops team. This role offers hands-on exposure to shipment tracking, reporting, stakeholder communication, supply chain visibility, and process improvement initiatives within a global logistics environment
Key Responsibilities •Track shipments and update operational milestones to ensure timely visibility and reporting. •Support 3PL/4PL operations through vendor coordination, customer updates, and operational follow-ups. •Monitor container movements, destination milestones, and support exception management activities. •Prepare and maintain operational reports, KPI trackers, and customer updates. •Respond to customer, vendor, and internal stakeholder queries through professional communication. •Assist with process improvement, automation, and AI-related initiatives by validating data and outputs. •Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and operational trackers. •Support root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement efforts. Required qualification, experience & skills •Relevant education in SCM, logistics, freight forwarding or shared services operations. •Knowledge of 3PL / 4PL supply chain operations. •Strong written communication skills with experience in customer / stakeholder email handling. •Good MS Office skills; good to have knowledge on Power BI, Power Automate, AI tools or reporting automation preferred. •Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, time management and ability to work under pressure. Good to have Business/ Technical Knowledge •SCM operations: import/export flows, milestone tracking, PO/shipment visibility, reporting and exception handling. •Customer communication: ability to draft clear, professional and timely email responses. •Reporting: ability to prepare, validate and maintain operational and KPI reports in Excel and MS Office. •Automation support: ability to support testing, validation and adoption of AI / Power Automate / reporting automation outputs. Process documentation: ability to follow and maintain SOPs, IOPs, trackers and training materials.
