Job Summary: The Employee Experience position leads and assists with employee experience projects and will create close partnerships with LUMA leaders, colleagues and HR partners to develop and execute LUMA’s employee experience strategy and governance. This includes implementation of programs and initiatives aligned to business strategy in areas including: employee value proposition, organizational effectiveness, performance management, training, onboarding, recognition, engagement, career development and diversity.
Job Description:
• Leads and coordinates the end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires by ensuring the effective orchestration of all required resources, stakeholders, and activities needed, covering company policies, procedures, culture, and operational processes to deliver a structured and consistent onboarding experience program for participants.
• Coordinates and ensures competition of all pre-employments requirements including background checks, new hires list communications for system access, email creations, union-related activities, leadership notifications, and other administrative tasks required to enable a successful onboarding start, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Manages employee relocation and mobility processes, including housing coordination, temporary accommodations, broker engagement, property visits, lease negotiations, and relocation support, ensuring smooth transitions for employees across locations.
• Conducts property inspections at all stages of occupancy, manages housing inventory (temporary and permanent), and prepares related insurance data reconciliation reports to ensure proper condition, accurate inventory documentation, and adherence to mobility policies.
• Supports employer branding initiatives and external talent engagement efforts by participating in job fairs, university partnerships, and recruitment outreach activities to strengthen the company’s talent pipeline and market presence.
• Provides administrative and operational support to Talent Acquisition Specialists, including assistance with job postings, candidate screening coordination, interview scheduling, and other recruitment‑related activities, resulting in a more efficient process and an enhanced candidate experience.
• Prepares and maintains reports related to onboarding, work authorization status, and mobility activities to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures, while maintaining confidentiality with all information managed.
• Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
• Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
• Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
Additional Job Description: Education
• Bachelor’s degree Human Resources or Business Administration
Experience
• 3 years' experience with functional role responsibilities conducting onboarding or training activities, human resources operations, talent acquisition coordinator or related administrative HR functions, preferably in a large organizational environment.
• Experience working with employer branding (preferred).
• Experience in mobility and/or relocation is (preferred).
Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
• Associate’s degree in business administration may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 6 years of experience performing similar responsibilities as the ones described in this document and at least 1 year coordinating events, training or activities.
