The Early Phase Clinical Manufacturing Group Lead builds and develops a high-performing team by instilling core values, fostering an inclusive environment, and driving safe, compliant manufacturing execution. What you will do:
• Direct daily production, safety, and quality operations to meet delivery goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional manufacturing and schedule facility and equipment maintenance. • Oversee batch execution and optimize cycle times across production lines. • Lead continuous improvement, equipment qualification, and operational efficiency projects. • Coach and develop staff through regular 1:1s, reviews, and career planning. • Manage floor personnel, lead shift meetings, and assign daily tasks. • Support the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management. • Ensure inspection readiness, manage quality compliance, and host regulatory audits. • Lead safety incident investigations, facility walkthroughs, and action plans. • Author and approve deviation investigations, change controls, and department SOPs.
What we are looking for:
• High school diploma or GED at minimum. • Pharmaceutical manufacturing and process equipment experience is preferred. • Experience fostering an inclusive culture that embraces continuous improvement and innovation. • Requires consistent, in-person attendance. • Frequent, and sometimes continuous, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. • High level of dexterity required for handling tools, manipulating small parts, and repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers. • Frequently required to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with some roles requiring lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance. • Personal Protection Equipment as required.
