What You'll Do
• Responsible for all faces of acquiring a used-car inventory through, direct contacts, generated leads, off site auctions, dealers, internet inquiries from customers or any other available avenues • Appraise vehicles, understand vehicle condition, negotiate price, make financially sound purchasing decisions, and insures timely processing of all purchases • Responsible for understanding retail trends and participating in the inventory planning process • Deliver a premium customer experience by responding to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner. This highly accountable position uses lead management tools • Requires working in a fast-paced team environment, being effective as a self-starter and working individually as needs dictate • Generate leads and create appointments by researching the available used car market • Meet car buying quotas • Understand market tendencies and the changes to the trends in all geographic areas. • Develop effective working relationships with the all purchasing venues to accelerate the placement of ideal inventory in an expeditious and cost-effective manner. • Effectively utilize lead management tools. • Compile all necessary reports, forms and other documentation on a timely basis • Required to be the expert in all aspects of the purchasing, shipping, selling and stocking vehicles
