About this role
Due to a long-term absence, The Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (D-MTEC) is looking for a temporary replacement to support the Executive MBA ETH HSG (emba X) team with administrative and operational tasks.
The emba X is an innovative, flagship joint programme between ETH Zurich and the University of St. Gallen. Our vision is to develop socially responsible leaders who have the mindset, knowledge, and skills to integrate leadership and technology challenges to have a significant positive impact on their teams, their organisations, and society at large.
Organization and hosting of events for the Alumni community and expert talks Administrative tasks such as programme's schedule management, coordination of learning materials and course preparation with lecturers, support and structuring of learning platforms and tools, handling of course evaluations Operational tasks include support in the planning and implementation of course weeks hosted by ETH, including room and catering reservations, coordination with technical support and presence in the classroom when required Support to Programme's Academic and Managing Directors Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Business Administration, Education, Hospitality or related field 2-5 years experience in event management, customer/student services, programme or projects coordination Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer and service-orientation Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a hands-on approach and a problem-solving mindset Fluency in English, both written and verbal; German would be an asset Very diverse and international work environment Perspectives for career development Support programmes (e.g. training) and networks Possibility for part-time work, home office We look forward to receiving your online application with the following documents:
