About this role

Job summary

This is a fixed term/secondment until 31/12/2028. If you are a Hywel Dda University Health Board employee and are applying for this post as a secondment, agreement for the secondment is needed from your current manager prior to application.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our portering team at Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth.

This is an opportunity for a hard working, friendly and conscientious individual to join our team.

Full-Time although Part-Time hours will be considered.

Main duties of the job

This post is a Rotary Pattern which include 24 hours cover including week ends and bank holidays.

Duties range from patients movement, security, driving, post room and waste collection.

Successful candidates will receive full training.

Successful candidates should be available to work a Rotary Pattern on a rolling rota, shifts are (07:00 - 15:00), (15:00 - 23:00), (23:00 - 07:00) Weekends and bank holidays will also be included.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
