About this role

Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GP to join our dynamic practice. You will have the opportunity to work across sites in both a modern, state-of-the-art health centre (High Oak Surgery) and a more traditional setting (Chapel Street Surgery) as part of an NHS Trust. This diverse role offers the chance to provide high-quality primary care to a wide range of patients with the opportunity to gain invaluable experience to promote career development.

We are looking to appoint at least 2 GPs to come and work with us. 12 Session per week are available over a variety of days.

Main duties of the job

Conducting patient consultations (face-to-face, telephone) Diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions Prescribing medications Providing health education and advice for patients Managing chronic diseases Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records Adhering to clinical guidelines and best practice Participating in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Contributing to the development and implementation of practice policies Supporting the training and development of other healthcare professionals

Person Specification

Registration Essential

Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP)

Experience Essential

Experience as a GP in the NHS

Desirable

Experience in specific areas of interest (e.g., women's health, child health) Teaching or mentoring experience

Qualifications Desirable

Completion of relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Family Planning, Minor Surgery).
