Job summary
Highlands Practice is a well established, GP training Practice providing high-quality care to approximately 12,000 patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic , caring GP to join our friendly, supportive and experienced team. We are situated in a modern, purpose-built practice with plenty of free parking. We offer NHS pension and Indemnity cover as well as a competitive salary of £11,750 per session per annum.
Main duties of the job
The role is for 4 to 6 sessions per week. Appointments are 12 minutes each and we have a low visiting rate. No extended hours. We use EmisWeb, Docman and electronic prescribing.

Our Practice comprises of 3 Partners, 6 Salaried GPs, 2 Registered Nurses, 2 Clinical pharmacists, 1 Physician Associate, 1 Healthcare assistant and 4 GP Registrars. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive practice for 4 to 6 sessions per week.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care as part of our experienced multidisciplinary team. The role offers an excellent work-life balance with 12-minute appointments, a low home visiting rate, and no extended hours commitment.
Our practice is fully computerised, using EMIS Web, Docman, and electronic prescribing to support efficient clinical workflows and minimise administrative burden.
We offer a collaborative and welcoming working environment where GPs are valued and supported. There are regular opportunities for clinical discussion and peer support, and we are committed to maintaining a positive, respectful team culture focused on delivering excellent patient care.
