Main duties of the job Barchester Healthcare is offering a flexible part-time position as a Chef - Bank, based in Sydenham, with the opportunity for work-life balance by avoiding split shifts and long weeks. The role involves assisting the Head Chef in preparing nutritious and flavorful menus tailored to residents preferences. Chefs are expected to deliver high-quality dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients and to maintain high standards of hospitality. Key responsibilities include managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring budget control, conducting audits, and inspiring the team. The role requires a warm approach with interest in residents wellbeing, City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualifications, experience in team leadership, and understanding of nutrition and HACCP. Qualifications Essential
