Division R&D Department Design Level Specialist (R&D) Functional Area Rolling Chassis 1 Job Title Experienced designers specializing in the design of fabricated structural components and casted parts. 2 Reporting Functional reporting to : L2 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Essential : Proficient in UG NX and team center. Strong knowledge of product design guidelines and manufacturing processes, specifically for sheet metal and Casted parts. Desirable: DME (Mechanical / Automobile) ii) Experience Minimum: 5 Maximum: 10 iii) Age Limit Minimum: 25 Maximum: 30 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: Designer Responsibilities: Design and development of 2wheeler rolling chassis components mainly in frame, chassis and other components like (Engine mountings, swingarm, handle bar, wheels, suspension, stands, battery tray etc.,) 3D modeling & 2D drawing preparation of parts and subsystems. Release of drawings in plm workflow process. Participate & resolve vehicle packaging issues like DFM/DFS/DFA/DFMEA. 5 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: Proficient in UG NX (solid, surface, sheet metal, assembly, drafting modules) and Team center. Relevant automotive industry experience with expertise in sheet metal, casting and forging part design. Strong knowledge of product design guidelines and manufacturing processes, specifically for sheet metal and Casted parts. Good knowledge in GD&T and tolerance stack up analysis. Behavioral Collaboration, Positive approach, soft spoken and Confidentiality.
