1. Job Purpose To lead Planned Maintenance activities for the Vehicle Assembly Shop by ensuring high equipment availability, reliability and safety through effective Preventive, Predictive and Corrective Maintenance systems, enabling uninterrupted production and optimum maintenance cost. 2. Job Requirements Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. Experience: 3-10 years in Maintenance of Automotive Manufacturing/Assembly lines Preferred Industry: Automobile / Engineering Manufacturing 3. Key Competencies Technical Preventive, Predictive & Corrective Maintenance PLCs, Robots, Servo Drives & VFDs Assembly Conveyors & Automation Systems Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems TPM, OEE, MTBF & MTTR Improvement Root Cause Analysis, FMEA & 7 QC Tools SAP PM / CMMS Industry 4.0 & IoT (preferred) Behavioural Leadership & Team Development Problem Solving Planning & Execution Cross-functional Coordination Continuous Improvement 4. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute Preventive, Predictive and Corrective Maintenance activities for Vehicle Assembly equipment. Ensure high equipment availability through effective breakdown analysis and reliability improvement initiatives. Drive TPM, OEE, MTBF/MTTR improvement and continuous maintenance excellence. Maintain assembly conveyors, robots, PLCs, DC tools, torque systems, vision systems and other automation equipment. Plan maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory and AMC execution. Lead equipment upgradation, digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Drive maintenance cost, energy consumption and breakdown loss reduction. Ensure compliance with TPM, QMS, SHEMS and safety standards. Develop technical capability of maintenance engineers and technicians. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, QA, Utilities and external vendors to support uninterrupted production.
