Division R&D Department Test and Validation Level EX Functional Area CAE-CFD 1 Job Title CFD Engineer 2 Reporting Functional reporting to LX 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Essential: B.Tech/BE from NIT/IIT Optional: M.Tech/ME/M.S from IIT/IISC ii) Experience Minimum: 3 Maximum: 5 iii) Age Limit Minimum: 25 Maximum: 30 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: CFD Engineer Technical/ Functional: The Simulation Engineer will be responsible for conducting CFD simulations of vehicle aerodynamic, thermal performance, engine coolant jackets and coolant pumps to optimize thermal performance, ensuring efficiency, reliability and design compliance. The role involves addressing challenges related to drag reduction, airflow management, heat transfer, component cooling and multiphase flow simulations. The role also includes analyzing coolant flow distribution, cavitation and pump flow characteristics.
