Division BAL Department BAL Level / Grade L3 Functional Area Purchase 1 Job Title Manager – Purchase & Component Development 2 Reporting Functional reporting to : Divisional Manager (CD & Purchase) 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Desirable: BTech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering ii) Experience Minimum: 5 years Maximum: 10 years iii) Age Limit Minimum: 25 years Maximum: 35 years 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: Attached separately Responsibilities: Electronic BOM [Bill of Material] Understanding To have in depth knowledge in Electronic components, Active components [transistors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs) etc], Passive components [resistors, capacitors, inductors, and transformers], PCB [Printed circuit board], Reflow soldering, Wave soldering, Soldering paste, Soldering materials Hands on experience in semiconductors manufacturers Hands on experience in semiconductors distributors Electronic BOM equivalent searching experience Timely cost estimation of parts. To ensure timely release of POs Amendments of POs as per RM circulars, Fx amendments SAP knowledge in purchase module Python script knowledge is added advantage for this position 5 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: Electronic BOM [Bill of Material] Understanding To have in depth knowledge in Electronic components, Active components [transistors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs) etc], Passive components [resistors, capacitors, inductors, and transformers], PCB [Printed circuit board], Reflow soldering, Wave soldering, Soldering paste, Soldering materials Basic knowledge in couplers, terminals, wires, cables & fuses etc., are added advantage Basic Knowledge in Plastics, Sheet metals, Potting process are added advantage Expertise in excel & Power Point. Well versed with SAP system.
