Team-center Engineering or PLM system, SAP 6 Job Responsibilities Component development 7 Competency Requirements Technical/Function Component development of Driver Information Systems / Instrument clusters, Telematics unit (mechanical and electronic/digital – LCD/TFT/ Stepper). Knowledge of complete life cycle of development of Instrument clusters and Fuel level sensors used in 2Wh and automotive domain and its interface with engine/vehicle components like vehicle sensors, switches, ignition and regulation systems. Understanding of EMC/EMI impacts on components / system. Understanding of CAN standards. Electronic component sourcing and pricing. Knowledge of domestic / global trends in relevant technology, regulations and develop long term road maps and appropriate work plan Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, quality, cost, weight. Knowledge and practice of DFMEA, PFMEA. Cost estimation and negotiation, settlement for part and tooling / fixture cost and supply chain management, PPAP, Supplier Audits, production ramp up. Knowledge of electronic components and its pricing Knowledge of quality systems, project management for component development, PPAP. Knowledge of testing of components, Homologation- AIS- ECE testing, RF certifications. Knowledge of Bluetooth connectivity, wifi, ethernet connectivity, phone APP connectivity Knowledge of ESIM- LTE data connectivity, cloud communication, GNSS.
