Division Chakan Department Quality Assurance Level / Grade L3 Functional Area Supplier Quality Assurance 1 Job Title Manager – Supplier Quality Assurance. 2 Reporting Functional reporting to : Div Manager- Quality Assurance 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Desirable: BE /B Tech – Mechanical / Automobile ii) Experience Minimum: 5 years Maximum: 8 years iii) Age Limit Minimum: 27 years Maximum: 32 years 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Responsibilities : Understanding customer expectations of and needs from a product. Developing supplier quality control processes. Designing product & internal test control specifications. Supervising staff and monitoring vendor parts standards. Examining the quality of raw materials that are used in production. Rejecting products that fail quality standards. Producing statistical reports on quality standards. Field failure analysis – EFR / Warranty & initiating actions with interface departments. ISO 9001:2015 QMS and TPM 5 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: Technical Sound knowledge on supplier quality processes, NCDS & problem solving. Good knowledge in Electrical, Propriety & polymer parts. Trouble shooting on supplier process issues and analysis. Knowledge on vehicle parts functions is must. Knowledge on homologation controls is must. Functional Able to administrate team on 5 members. Able to educate and motivate teams in achieving the goals and objectives. Develop and maintain good harmony and quality culture within and interface functions. Behavioral Excellent attention to detail in problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication. Data analysis and statistical aptitude. Good interpersonal skills. Highly conscientious and diligent. Specific expertise required for functional area: - NCDS – New Component Development Systems Knowledge on electrical, Polymer parts, Propriety parts processes and controls.
