We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. This position is based at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring that all processes from goods receipt to dispatch are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with customs regulations, company policies, and operational standards. This role is responsible for leading warehouse teams, maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring the seamless flow of products between warehouses, stores, and operational locations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, picking, replenishment, and dispatch activities. Lead, coach, and support warehouse team by allocating workloads, monitoring performance, and fostering continuous development. Ensure inventory accuracy, product traceability, and effective stock rotation through the application of FIFO principles and inventory control best practices. Coordinate and oversee the timely and accurate distribution of products to stores, warehouses, and operational locations. Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, airport requirements, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies. Monitor shipment documentation, warehouse records, and inventory transactions to ensure operational accuracy and regulatory compliance. Lead inventory counts, stock reconciliations, customs inspections, and audit-related activities. Manage processes related to damaged, missing, or obsolete inventory and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented. Coordinate operational activities between Warehouse, Customs Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure uninterrupted product flow and operational continuity. Monitor warehouse equipment and operational assets, ensuring maintenance and servicing activities are carried out in a timely manner. Promote a safe, disciplined, and high-performing working environment while driving employee engagement and team development initiatives. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or a similar operational environment. Proven experience in team leadership and people management. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control processes, and customs-controlled environments. Demonstrated leadership, planning, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities. Results-oriented mindset with the ability to make decisions and resolve operational challenges effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferably good command of written and spoken English. Advanced SAP knowledge with hands-on experience in transaction processing, reporting, and data management across relevant modules. Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management tools.
