Job Purpose Provides engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction. Job Description Works independently on standard projects as a reference and participates in more complex projects under supervision of more senior engineers Performing calculations such as: static structural, dropped object/impact, normal modes, buckling, weld/bolt strength calculations, fatigue Developing and validating simulation models using industry-standard FEA/CAE tools (such as: Ansys Mechanical, Abaqus CAE and internal tools) Performing hand calculations and running sensitivity studies for different geometries and load combinations Performing studies of piping, beam, subsea structures, and frames Interpreting analysis results, and providing design recommendations Compiling feedback presentations and technical reports Cooperating globally with members from cross-functional teams to consult and resolve design challenges Mentoring and support to less experienced engineers Capable of relating engineering solutions to cost and time Requirements MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Machine Design, Civil and Structural Engineering or a related discipline. at least 2 years of experience proficiently working with ANSYS Mechanical or Abaqus good knowledge of material strength, free-body diagrams, and mechanics. attention to detail and thoroughness. strong technical skills in engineering excellent command of English, orally and through written documentation. good project management skills good communication skills, team-player spirit, and a can-do attitude. good organizational and problem-solving skills ready to work in a multicultural and team-oriented environment able to work 4 days a week from our Krakow office Optional (as an asset): scripting capabilities (e.g. Python, VBA) experience in APDL experience in ANSA/HyperMesh experience in SACS
