Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Shift Manager to support our CoPack depart at our Premier Foods contract in, Tamworth. You will be responsible for leading the team to build and deliver an increasingly growing number of promotional display units alongside a steady volume of standard conversion repacks with a customer facing role, with a big focus on Continuous Improvement and delivering complex workloads. This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00. However, we do ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £43,938.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: Responsibility for all staff and workload with the CoPack department, across multiple shifts Create a strong engagement culture that drives momentum on site and ensures colleagues feel valued and appreciated, in line with both GXO’s and the customer’s values Maintain effective and open communication links, positively encouraging teamwork Liaise and build rapport with the customer to allow for collaborative working What you need to succeed at GXO: Proven significant experience in a similar management role and environment working with a high-profile customer Experience in a customer-facing role, with demonstratable experience in CoPack project management, driving change and implementing a CI culture Strong financial acumen - you’ll be accountable for a substantial budget value of several million pounds We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
