Purpose of the role The Crew Short Term Planner oversees and recovers the published crew roster, ensuring efficiency, compliance with regulations, and driving system and process improvements. Responsibilities Recovering crew schedule and line training plan after operational disruptions outside the 72-hour window Planning crew routes based on the schedule and duty rules Optimizing the crew roster to ensure the highest crew productivity while adhering to safety and compliance requirements Taking responsibility for roster fatigue and the wellbeing of crew members Leading process and system improvement initiatives Managing cross-functional projects in cooperation with various stakeholders (Crew Control, Crew Planning, Cabin and Flight Operations, Training, Human Resources) Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including duty and flight time limitations and Fatigue Risk Management Experience Experience with AIMS Crew and Ops systems is required Knowledge of working rules, limitations, and rest requirements is a must Hard skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of crew scheduling regulations and systems Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Language Fluent spoken and written English Skills and competencies Growth mindset and can-do attitude Ability to synthesize information into actionable recommendations Good oral and written presentation skills Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
