Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors. Purpose of the Position: This position is responsible for inventory accounting, cost control, inventory costing, and related reporting activities. The role also supports inventory optimization and operational efficiency initiatives, while ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting requirements, and internal control standards Day to Day Responsibilities: Perform month-end cost closing and inventory reporting in a timely and accurate manner Prepare and analyze monthly inventory and manufacturing cost results Support inventory-related internal control and compliance activities Lead annual standard cost updates and inventory physical count processes Support inventory optimization and operational efficiency initiatives Support planning and forecasting activities Support internal and external audit requirements. Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field 3+ years of experience in manufacturing cost control and analysis Big 4 experience is a plus CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred Required Skills Solid knowledge of accounting principles and processes Strong internal control awareness Good communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Proactive problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation Ability to work effectively under deadlines Ability to communicate effectively in both Chinese and English Desired Skills ERP experience is preferred.
