What you'll do Support & Collaboration with the Head of Legal Collaborate closely with the Head of Legal by providing high-level support in daily operations and key legal initiatives, ensuring the efficient delivery of legal services across the business. Serve as a crucial link between the Head of Legal, internal business units, and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and the efficient implementation of legal advice. Standard Legal Review & Documentation Conduct preliminary reviews of standard commercial contracts, handle routine legal inquiries and perform standard legal checks. Draft and prepare standard legal correspondence independently, ensuring streamlined workflows and swift response times within the department. Dispute Resolution, Regulatory & Research Proactively assist the legal department with litigation, out-of-court disputes, regulatory matters,and general case preparation. Conduct thorough legal research to support the Head of Legal and the wider team in resolving complex legal inquiries and assessing legal risks. Corporate Governance & Stakeholder Management Assist with company law and corporate governance matters to ensure strict internal compliance. Liaise seamlessly with external legal advisors (e.g., law firms) and internal stakeholders, acting as a highly professional and reliable point of contact for the legal department. What you'll need A third-level law degree (LL.B, BCL) or professional legal qualification. IILEX qualification (Irish Institute of Legal Executives) or equivalent is highly advantageous. . Proven practical experience working in a legal environment, such as an in-house legal department or a law firm with a strong track record of contract and legal document review. A strong understanding of legal terminology, legal processes, and commercial acumen. A highly organized, proactive professional with the ability to draft correspondence independently, manage multiple processes efficiently, and work collaboratively as a trusted partner to the legal leadership.
