Job Overview The Junior Analyst supports the R2R function by executing low-complexity, clearly defined accounting activities within a limited scope, following established procedures and templates. The Analyst I operates with close supervision while developing foundational accounting, systems, and process knowledge Job Requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Journal entry preparation Execution of reconciliations using predefined templates Support fixed assets, cash management or intercompany tasks under supervision Support month-end close activities for assigned processes. Ensure tasks are executed accurately and on time according to procedures. Escalate issues or inconsistencies to senior team members. Adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements. Actively participate in training and learning initiatives. What your background should look like COMPETENCIES & SKILLS Basic accounting knowledge (GAAP concepts). Developing analytical and critical thinking skills. Attention to detail and data accuracy. Willingness to learn and accept feedback. Basic English and Spanish communication skills. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS 0–2+ years of relevant accounting experience (or internships). Exposure to general accounting, AP or AR processes preferred. Basic experience with ERP systems and MS Excel preferred. Technical degree in accounting or undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (in progress or completed).
