Job Overview Oversees equipment maintenance and leads maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance in the organization to ensure a longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Job Requirements Overseeing maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling, and performance management to ensure measurable goals, goal satisfaction, and effective staff performance management. Supervising and implementing continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, and efficiency through Kaizen, 8D, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Overseeing preventive and condition base maintenance targeting to achieve maximum availability of equipment and zero production downtime. Developing and publishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to correctly utilize and maintain facilities throughout the unit. What your background should look like Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise maintenance team members, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Execute and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize recurring failures and production downtime. Manage departmental maintenance expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction and equipment improvements. Provide management with regular updates regarding maintenance performance, costs, and operational status. Develop and monitor equipment downtime metrics, productivity reports, and maintenance KPIs. Support the acquisition, installation, modification, and commissioning of machinery, equipment, and plant infrastructure. Supervise maintenance activities related to critical plant utilities, including electricity, water, gas, compressed air, and HVAC systems. Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Participate in audits, Gemba walks, Tier meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, maintenance standards, and management systems. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in a similar maintenance leadership role. Experience managing and developing maintenance personnel. Advanced English proficiency. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. High sense of urgency and ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Technical Competencies: Maintenance & Reliability Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance. Failure Analysis and Root Cause Investigation. Maintenance planning and procedure development. Equipment reliability and continuous improvement methodologies. Spare parts inventory management and supplier coordination. Automation & Controls PLC Programming and Troubleshooting: Allen-Bradley Siemens Mitsubishi Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Control Systems. Keyence systems and industrial automation technologies. Industrial diagnostics and troubleshooting. Manufacturing Equipment Experience or exposure to the following equipment and processes is highly desirable: CNC Machines Presses and Stamping Equipment Dies and Tooling Systems High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) Aluminum Processes Plastic and Silicone Injection Molding Industrial Furnaces Paint Booths (ZAMES preferred) Overhead Cranes Robotics Experience with 6-Axis Robots.
