Title: E3D CAD Specialist (3D CAD Administrator)
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overall E3D CAD software management • Support Company Project Systems Integration Map and configure all CAD systems per project specifications • Develop and issue the project E 3D CAD Execution Plan • Responsible for AVEVA Global execution requirements: - Construct PDMS/E3D project (DB’s) to best facilitate WBS and work scope split - Ensure naming convention will work with the proposed scope split (will location identifiers be needed, etc.) - Set up and monitor scheduled updates between locations - Education of users (functionality and philosophy of global working) - Set up, monitor, and control global transactions (Flushing, Issuing, Claiming) - Coordinate distribution of databases between locations • Administer and manage clash application(s): - Customize automated allocation - Automated acceptances - Clash conditions and tolerances • Model review coordination: - Produce customized exports • Multi discipline coordination activities for E 3D CAD Admin support • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and support for 3D project data: - Schedule administrative tasks - Perform data integrity checks - Run the interference detection process (clash checks) - Produce reports - Perform database maintenance - Perform project backup and restore - Ensure data consistency Job Requirements:
• Diploma in Engineering or Information Technology with minimum 10 years of relevant work experience • Experience with Oil and Gas Offshore/Onshore projects with hands-on involvement in projects but not limited to: - AVEVA Global, AVEVA Administration, E3D & PDMS - Multi Discipline Support administration (MDS) - Catalogue and Specification - Draft Administration settings (representations, styles, hatching libraries, backing sheets, symbol libraries, etc.) - Isometric Administration settings (Underlay, Isometric option files, etc.)
