Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policiesPlan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumptionLoad, unload, and secure packages and goods in the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and protectionDeliver packages to customers at designated locations and obtain required signatures or confirmationsMaintain accurate delivery records, including timestamps, customer information, and any delivery exceptionsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance issues and report them promptlyProvide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, handling complaints professionally, and maintaining a positive demeanorNavigate using GPS and mapping systems to locate delivery addresses and manage time effectivelyCommunicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or any issues encountered during routesEnsure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety protocols at all times Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordProven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation roleProficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applicationsStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularlyKnowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and ability to perform routine inspectionsFamiliarity with delivery route optimization and logistics principlesAbility to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficientlyPhysical capability to work in various weather conditions and environmentsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
