We are looking for a Senior HVAC Estimator who reflects these values and brings proven commercial HVAC estimating experience, sound judgment and strong attention to detail to our growing Commercial team.
TPH is a growing mechanical contractor serving commercial, construction and residential customers across Western Canada. You will work closely with our estimating, project management and field operations teams to develop accurate, competitive estimates and support a smooth handoff from tender through project award.
What You?ll Do
* Review drawings, specifications, tender documents and addenda * Complete detailed HVAC quantity takeoffs * Prepare labour, material, equipment and subcontractor estimates * Obtain, review and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing * Identify scope requirements, exclusions, risks and opportunities * Prepare accurate and competitive tender submissions * Manage multiple estimates and submission deadlines * Participate in internal bid reviews * Support project turnover to Project Management and Field Operations * Maintain organized estimating files, pricing information and historical project data * Compare estimated costs against actual project performance * Help strengthen estimating standards and processes as our Commercial division grows
What You Bring
* Significant commercial HVAC estimating experience * Strong knowledge of mechanical construction, HVAC systems and installation requirements * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and tender documents * Experience developing labour, material and equipment requirements * Strong understanding of supplier and subcontractor pricing * Ability to identify scope gaps, exclusions and project risks * Excellent organization, communication and attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines * Experience with estimating software and construction ERP systems is an asset * Strong judgment, accountability and follow-through

Pay: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
